Ferdows dialect
The Ferdows’s people speak the Toon dialect. This dialect is one of the oldest dialects among the Persian dialects in Khorasan which largely retains the older features of the Persian language. Although the dialect is a subset of Persian in its vocabulary, due to its structural differences in verbs and wording with the official language of the country, it has received fewer loans than other Khorasan dialects. The lyrics and the weight of the words in this dialect make it very difficult for an unfamiliar listener to understand.
